We have two available units and they include the imagePASS W20 Fiery controller. These wide format copiers are offered subject to prior sale. Low use unit available has only made about 5 rolls of prints total. It is like new.
6 colors with 12 print heads
The 6-colour printing process uses low-density inks of C, M, Y and K, as well as Light Cyan and Light Magenta, providing improved precision, greater tonal depth and finer diffusion. The 4 replaceable print cartridges, each containing 3 heads use 256 printing nozzles per colour to promote improved reliability.
Continuous ink charging
6 high-capacity ink bottles hold 650 ml of each colour. An ink tubing system with sub tanks automatically replenishes ink, while enabling bottles can be changed during printing. Three electrodes in each sub tank constantly monitor ink levels and also detect ink waste.
Highly productive printing speed
A0 output is achievable in 7 minutes in draft mode whilst maintaining a high quality 1200 x 600 dpi resolution. The 44 metre plot capacity has a print speed of 4.3m2 per hour in normal mode providing high productivity in conjunction with better image quality.
Extensive media range
Premium and opaque paper, high glossy and adhesive vinyl film can be used enabling extensive applications. Printing width of the machine is 106.7cm (42").
Convenient two-level media roll
A two-level automatic loading tray holds two rolls of media with automatic switching, allowing for continuous printing or automatic switching between media. Auto switch is also selectable from the driver. An automatic cutter is standard. Frontal, manual feed for cut sheets is also possible.
User friendly and flexible
An interactive operation panel with a clear message display ensures quick and easy operation even for advanced functions, while the supplied printer drivers support the most widely used computer platforms.
Raster Image Processors
Canon also offers a software RIP, PosterJet with features such as nesting, cropping, tiling and support for a variety of file formats.
